Design and Programming
Our drawing and design team are always looking for ways to help customers enhance and improve their existing products.
They are on hand to offer key experience right from the start of a new project, from prototyping through to implementation.
Laser Profiling
We have two CNC laser cutting machines, giving us a large capacity to produce accurate metal profiles with a high-quality surface finish on the edge of the profile; with small or large batch sizes being achievable. We have the capability to cut up to the following material thicknesses:
- Mild steel up to 12 mm
- Stainless steel up to 5 mm
- Aluminium up to 4 mm
Pressing and Forming
The experience within our CNC Brake Press section is second to none, this, along with investment in a broad variety of tooling, means we can ensure quality and precision for the widest of sheet metal bending requirements. Our press tonnages enable us to fold your profiles in either mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium to the following capacities:
- 3000 mm length – up to 3 mm material thickness
- 2000 mm length – up to 6 mm material thickness
- 1200 mm length – up to 10 mm material thickness
Welding and Finishing
The assembly of products is undertaken by our team of skilled welders using a variety of techniques; MIG, TIG, Manual Metal Arc, Spot-weld, Solder and Brazing in mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium.
On the finishing side, the fettlers role is to complete the manufactured items through grinding and linishing to the customers specifications; we can offer a high-quality polished finish if required.
Inserts, Drilling and Tapping
We have a variety of equipment and tooling that enables us to install sheet metal fastenings, including self-clinch fasteners, rivet nuts, welded fasteners and blind rivets amongst others. On the drill bank we can offer drilling tapping and counterboring.
Fabrications
Elaborate structures, intricate frames or basic weldments; our workshop is fully equipped to produce general fabrications to suit your requirements. We manufacture using box section, flats, angle or tube in mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium.

A wide range of hollow sections, angles, flats, tubes and channels is also available in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
Whilst stock sizes are available, we know that having materials cut to your exact sizes will help you complete your task as quickly and efficiently as possible. Therefore, we offer a sawing service for all stocked section materials and shearing for sheets. We can guillotine blanks up to 3000 long to the following capacity:
- Mild steel up to 8 mm thick
- Stainless steel up to 4 mm thick
- Aluminium up to 4 mm thick
